YOUTH ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Our Youth Assistance Program is geared toward orphans and Youth in the Foster Care System. More specifically, we focus on teaching Life Skills to facilitate a smooth transition out of the system into successful independent living.
We assist young adults realize their full potential in their personal, financial, career and educational pursuits.
The training empowers students and help them develop as healthy, well-adjusted citizens. We deliver an effective program of assessment, prevention, intervention, treatment, Life Skills Training and transitional services.
LIFE SKILLS TRAINING
PERSONAL SKILLS TRAINING: Living on Your Own, Communication Skills, Career Path, Resolving Conflict, Driving Skills, Shelter, Personal Health Care, Insurance, Time Management, Food & Clothing, Technology, Entrepreneurship.
EDUCATION TRAINING: GED Completion, College Prep Assistance, Internships, Vocational Education Training Referrals, College Application Assistance, Financial Aid Application Assistance, Resume Building, Entrepreneurship, Parenting, Identifying Special Gifts
FINANCIAL TRAINING: Basic Financial Literacy, Financial Management, Banking, (savings/checking), Value Shopping, Taxes, Coupon Shopping, Mortgages, Bartering, Small Jobs, Starting a Small Business.

TRAINING FOR PRODUCTIVE LIVING
Our classes are tailored to meet the needs of our students. We provide individualized assessments, assignments, training and hands-on-experience. Our Life Skills Training prepares our students for a smooth transition from orphan or foster care status into independent living.
